Justin Bieber's refusal to enter rehab can ruin his career particularly if the campaign by an Ottawa radio station to ban his songs until he gets help will gain traction with the other DJs.

Josie Geuer, program director of The New Hot 89.9 FM, said the ban started on Thursday afternoon in the effort to force him into rehab. Also on Thursday, Justin Bieber was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol as well as an expired license.

"We just felt like that was almost the last straw....we thought banning his music would be one of the only ways to sort of get his attention-perhaps the label, perhaps him personally," Geuer said, according to GlobalNews.

The problem, however, is that the "Baby" singer is tuning out his inner circle who desperately wanted him to get into rehab and second, he's staying with his "bad influence" dad, 38-year-old Jeremy Bieber, in Miami, according to NY Daily News.

According to NY Daily News, his "bad influence" dad was partying with Justin Bieber at a nighclub in Miami the night of his arrest. In fact, the SUV caravan he was driving actually blocked traffic so the pop star can drag race, the source told the website.

Justin Bieber's dad posted on Twitter after his Thursday arrest: "I can protect my kids, but I can't protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy. #reallife."

TMZ reported that some of the inner circle of Justin Bieber believed that his issues were two-fold: unresolved problems during his formative years and the fame and money coming too soon.

The report is confirmed by E! News which talked to a source who said, "Everyone around him is urging him to go into rehab. There is massive concern right now. The concern is, 'We have to figure this out. We have to fix this and do whatever it takes.' They think the problem is the people he is hanging out with. He has some issues to work on."
