Upcoming Android Phones 2014: Micromax Announces A Flagship And Midrange Handset, Meet The Canvas Turbo Mini And Canvas Knight

As January ends, we see a bunch of new upcoming Android phones for 2014. And now, phone maker Micromax has joined the party with two new Android-powered handsets. 

First up is the midrange Canvas Turbo Mini. At only about €169, this is an ideal option for budget shoppers. The Micromax handset is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP primary shooter, and a 5MP front cam.

The Canvas Turbo Mini also packs a 4.7-inch IPS display with 720p resolution, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and is powered by a 1,800mAh battery. 

Meanwhile, there is also the flagship Canvas Knight that has a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, an octa-core MediaTek chipset, and a 16MP camera. 

The phone is announced to be released in Russia any time from now, as a part of Micromax's plan to expand its market.
