It's not coincidence, is it? Just a week after Ashlee Simpson announced her engagement to Evan Ross, ex-husband Pete Wentz revealed that he's thinking about getting married, too!

During "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday, the Fall Out Boy bassist said he's really smitten with model, Meagan Camper and they have been talking about getting hitched a lot of times.

He said he could really see himself settling down with his girlfriend, adding that she really gets along with his son with Ashlee Simpson, five-year-old Bronx.

"We talk about it a lot. I feel really lucky. It's really interesting to be in a relationship with someone who's truly my best friend. I talk to her about everything."

Pete Wentz also joked about his looks compared to his hot girlfriend. "It's insane that she hangs out with me. I feel like, 'hot girl pictured with homeless man trying to beg her for change.

"This is like charity work here," he laughed.

Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross, son of Supremes singing diva Diana Ross, met in July last year and announced their engagement earlier this month following a whirlwind romance.

If they marry, it's going to be the second time for Simpson who was previously married to Pete Wentz, bassist of the Fall Out Boy, and divorced in 2011. They have a son together, Bronx.

Elder sister, Jessica Simpson, clearly approves of the engagement as she recently posted an Instagram photo of her being sandwiched between Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.

Ashlee Simpson first met Evan Ross' mother in August, before they were engaged, during her concert with LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

"She was nice and said hello to Diana. Everyone was in a good mood and Ashlee just blended in as Diana's son's girlfriend," the source said.
