Lenovo Yoga 2 review, specs: Features of the updated laptop by Lenovo includes two models that seemingly impressed many at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014) in Las Vegas. The new units include a quad-core Intel Pentium processor and a storage with 500GB.

Price of the Lenovo Yoga 2 include a weight of 3.5 pounds and is just a hair thicker than the 11-inch model, CNET notes. The new Lenovo Yoga 2 is still full HD at 1,920 x 1,080 but does’t have the 3,200 x 1,800 resolution it has. Specs of the laptop include a fourth-gen Intel Core i5 CPU and a 500GB hard drive. It has a solid-state drive (SSD) option available for those hoping to upgrade.

The Windows-powered laptop measures 11.7” x 8.1” x 0.7” and weights about 2.9 pounds. The laptop itself is quite heavy for a tablet but is light enough for a laptop. Like most convertibles, the user will either find this better than a laptop or tablet, or vice-versa.

According to CNET, the new Lenovo Yoga 2 models doesn’t feel as premium as the Yoga 2 Pro. The tech site declares the unit as the best Windows laptop of 2013. The updated laptops launched at CES are thicker, feels like plastic and 360-degree hinges that is not as elegantly effortless to manipulate.

Some plus of the laptop include an excellent overall touch-screen laptop, a decent tablet experience and a kiosk mode, which CNET says has been seemingly been undervalued by users.

The 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 2 is now available at Best Buy for $500. The unit features Intel’s latest Bay Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive.
