CW's The Originals will return on Tuesday, January 28 for its 12^th episode, entitled "Dance Back From The Grave."

Before the episode airs, show's executive producer Julie Plec talked to TVLine to explain some major events that are about to happen to the show.

After an exciting episode last week, fans are asking on what really happens to Davina [Danielle Campbell]. Before the series started, fans already know that Davina is one of the main characters in the show. With last week's episode, fans are starting to wonder whether Davina is really dead.

When Vlada Gelman of TVLine asked Plec about this, the show's EP replied, "[Laughs] Look, the mythology of the Harvest is that these four witches pass into limbo, waiting for their magic to spread back to the Earth. After their magic is spread back to the Earth, then they would be resurrected. What we saw at the end of the episode is that their magic was, basically, hijacked. If you follow the logic of the mythology to its magical conclusion, then it's possible that we haven't seen the last of these girls. But we've got to get rid of these nasty hijackers first. [Laughs]"

Plec's response brought major explanations on what's about to happen to the show.

This could mean that when the four older witches (Celeste and the other 3 resurrected witches) are defeated, there could still be a way to bring Davina and the other three sacrificed girls. Davina fans will be thrilled!

Plec also revealed to TVLine that the "Harvest" might still be completed. Since the Harvest is entirely connected to the four teen witches, it could also mean that the completion of the Harvest could be the way to bring these four girls back to life.

Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), still angered by recent events, refuses to help Klaus (Joseph Morgan) when a gruesome discovery is made in the Cauldron. Rebekah (Claire Holt) is on alert when she uncovers the remnants of a sacrifice down by the docks and immediately realizes that it's the work of a dangerous warlock from their past. Meanwhile, when Elijah (Daniel Gillies) gets some information that Rebekah may be in trouble, he and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) set off to find her. At Rousseau's, Cami (Leah Pipes) comforts Marcel, who opens up and shares some details of his past with her, but things quickly spiral out of control when an unexpected visitor shows up. Finally, a violent confrontation ensues when Klaus faces off against a powerful force with an unmatched advantage over him. Daniella Pineda also stars. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Michael Russo and Michael Narducci (#112).
