The San Antonio Spurs have been not acting like a finals-caliber team lately as they continue to struggle with players getting plagued with injuries. On the other hand the Bulls are heating up since the turn of the New Year losing only four games since the year started.

The Spurs lost their second straight in their last outing, their longest losing streak this season. With Tim Duncan recording his fourth double-double game in their last match with 12 points and 14 rebounds, the Spurs trailed with as much as 29 points against the Heat in their finals rematch.

"I thought defensively we did a pretty decent job of controlling the game for a long time, and then it just got away from us," Duncan told the league's official website. "We just have to get everybody sort of swarming toward the ball."

On their way to a six game road trip, the Chicago Bulls are worried they may be without Joakim Noah in the lineup, who contributes immensely to their lineup. Noah didn’t play in their last outing against the Wolves due to illness, where he sat at for the entire game.

"When you lose a guy like Jo your margin for error is smaller," coach Tom Thibodeau said.

"He's an All-Star. You're going to feel it (when Noah is out)," forward Taj Gibson said. "He was playing real phenomenal. He's one of the vocal leaders, rebounding, playing defense, controlling the offensive end and making plays for guys.
"We got to keep pushing forward."
The Bulls, meanwhile, are looking to take on their six game road trip one game at a time as they are set to face tough teams on the road starting with the Spurs, followed by the Pelicans, Kings, Suns, Warriors before ending the trip against the Lakers.

"It's going to be a lot of adversity," Gibson told the team's official website. "We just have to focus on the next one. "We're going to get some guys back healthy. It's going to be a good test. It will be good to get away, get away from home for a while, to focus on getting some wins and focus on having adversity on the road."
