Grammys 2014 is not just an affair to recognize talented musicians but also an avenue for celebrities to flaunt their designer gowns and suits. However, it does not mean that celebrities are safe from clothing criticism. During the Grammys 2014, Ariana Grande was reportedly hurt after reading harsh comments about her dress and hair.

After parading her outfit at the Staples Center last January 26, the 20-year-old singer checked her Twitter account only to realize that some netizens bashed her appearance.

"She's still no completely comfortable on carpets and she made the mistake of looking at Twitter. This blogger attacked her dress but also went after her hair and then more people starting piling on. It was just mean. Ariana was like, 'Why am I even here?'" says the concerned insider.

Despite seeing the painful tweets against her look, Nathan Sykes' former lady love still managed to wear her black floral Dolce and Gabbana dress which reportedly cost $9,000. She completed her outfit with a pair of customized heels from Aldo. Her jewels were from Effy and Lorraine Schwartz.

Apart from her Grammys 2014 ensemble, the 'Put Your Heart Up' singer has been bashed as well because of her unchanging hair style. In one of her online posts, she addressed the issue and confessed why she needed to keep the same hairstyle.

"I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat. As one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair," she started.

She explained that people should give her and her locks a break: "And trust me, it's even more difficult for me to have to wait forever for my natural hair to grow back and to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined. So PLEASE gimme a break about the hair (or just don't look at me lol). IT'S JUST HAIR AFTER ALL. There are way way way more important things. Love y'all very much."
