Arrow Season 2 spoilers from last year revealed another DC character is making an appearance on the show. And, it's Ra's al Ghul. The rumor was confirmed last November 2013 when TVGuide first broke the news.

"The daughter of Ra's al Ghul is coming to Starling City - but it's not exactly who you'd expect. Spartacus alum Katrina Law has been tapped to play Ra's al Ghul's other progeny, Nyssa al Ghul, on Arrow, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively," reported by TVGuide.

According to the comic books, Nyssa is the half-sister of Talia al Ghul. She is the Ra's al Ghul's love child when he travelled through Russia.

This news also gave opened up some rumors that Isabel Rochev (played by Sumer Glau) could be Talia al Ghul as reported by TVGuide.

Earlier today, IGN first released some exclusive photos of Katrina Law who will portray Nyssa al Ghul in the CW hit TV series Arrow season 2.

As Laurel continues to unravel, Oliver and Lance try to convince Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) to stay in Starling City and finally reunite with Laurel and Dinah (guest star Alex Kingston). However, Sara's fellow League of Assassins member, Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law, "Spartacus"), comes to bring Sara back to the fold, but when Sara refuses, Nyssa kidnaps Dinah. Realizing she's putting her family in danger by staying in town, Sara considers re-joining the league.

Just reading the synopsis, it looks like episode 13 will be a remarkable turning point for the Lance family!

Arrow season 2 executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared his thoughts on Nyssa's role, saying "Our Nyssa certainly has shades of Talia. Katrina auditioned for Shado and it actually came down to Katrina and Celina [Jade] and honestly, part of it was just that because we knew she'd have scenes with Slade [played by Manu Bennett], and it just felt like a Spartacus overkill. But she's somebody that we've been a fan of. When this part came up, we saw a lot of people for it, but she certainly is exotic and beautiful and smart and our stunt guys are over the moon, because she can do a lot of her own stunts."

Arrow season 2 EP also revealed that Katrina Law's character is "the next wave of the League of Assasins that comes to Starling City. But she has some interesting secrets as well..."

Aside from Nyssa al Ghul, there are other DC characters who'll make an appearance on the show including the 'Clock King' who will be played by Robert Knepper from Prison Break. According to EP Marc Guggenheim, "Robert Knepper is coming in Episode 12 [as the Clock King]. He plays a bad guy, but there's an expectation when Robert Knepper plays a bad guy that you'll be seeing a very specific version of Robert. What's wonderful about his turn on Arrow is that he's every bit as scary as we've seen him be before, but in a completely different way. He really took a lot of inspiration from his character being the Clock King in the comics."

Arrow season 2, episode 13 'Heir To The Demon' will air on February 5, 2014!
