After more than a year in the market, the HTC Butterfly finally gets the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date, what most likely is its final update.  

In a report by GSM Arena, the update is now rolling out to HTC Butterfly devices over-the-air in Malaysia, though expect the update to arrive in other countries as well in the coming days. 

The update is 500MB so you may want to free from space from your storage. 

Some of the improvements brought by the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release include Sense 5.5, a better Blinkfeed feature, the HTC Zoe camera mode that creates an 'animated' gallery, enhanced music and imaging features, several bug fixes, and overall improvement of system performance. 

Meanwhile, the Butterfly which arrived to Verizon, dubbed Droid DNA will reportedly skip version 4.3 according to a rumor, and head straight to KitKat.
