Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: One M8 Phablet Will Arrive In Four Color Editions, Rumored To Sport On-Screen Buttons, Fingerprint Scanner Or Dual Cameras

As MWC approaches we see more information about upcoming HTC phones in 2014, particularly the HTC One successor.

A new report claims that the One 2 (M8) would come in four color options during its launch some time in February or March.

According to a report from Android Authority, a couple of tweets from XDA TV producer Shen Ye that the upcoming Android phone will have four color options, dark gray (black), light gray (silver), red and blue.

There are certainly no surprises as far as color options are concerned. The HTC One and One mini both arrived in silver and black, but eventually got the blue and red editions. This strategy of releasing four color options will only provide more handsets to choose from, depending on the buyer's preferences.

Aside from the color options, the HTC One M8 will reportedly pack a fairly standard 5-inch 1080 screen, 2GB of RAM a Snapdragon 800 chipset and Sense 6. Interestingly, previous rumors claim that the new droid will either pack twin camera sensors or a fingerprint scanner at the back, just like the One max.

With just a few weeks away from the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, we will soon get to see what the Taiwanese manufacturer has in store for us.
