Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: The Nokia X Is Essentially An Android Version Of The Lumia 520, Red Version Appears In Leaked Images

There have been a number exciting upcoming Nokia phones this 2014, which includes the Lumia 929 or Icon bound for Verizon, and the recently-announced Lumia 1320. However, there's still one more whose announcement date is already overdue - the Nokia X, otherwise known as Normandy. 

Rumored a couple of months back, the Android-powered handset has been leaking in several websites and retailers for weeks, confirming its entry-level specs. 

However, if see Nokia's philosophy for releasing such a device, we go back to Windows Phone's most popular handset, the Lumia 520 - an entry-level handset.

The Finnish manufacturer could be seeing another Lumia 520 in the Nokia X, this time running on a new platform - Android. 

A recent leaked image of the Nokia phone reveals its Lumia-inspired design. The Mobile World Congress is fast approaching, and we could be witnessing history unfold as Nokia announces its first and probably last Android-powered smartphone.
