According to Now magazine, Johnny Depp just bought a beautiful mansion in the style of "Downton Abbey"; the Grade II Listed Hadspen Manor has 12 bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and sprawling walled gardens and woodlands within 850 acres of land.

According to Now magazine's sources, Johnny Depp, 50, and Amber Heard, 27, are thinking to fill those rooms in the near future - with kids.

"Johnny's desperate to become a dad again," sources told Now magazine.

"Amber refuses to have a baby until they're married, which was part of the reason behind the proposal.

"It looks like they might be serious about it."

Before Johnny got engaged to Amber, the "Mordecai" actor revealed his feelings towards marriage, and how he thinks weddings are unnecessary in relationships. According to Us Weekly, Depp explained to Extra in 2010 why he never married his ex-girlfriend of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11.

"I never found myself needing that piece of paper," he shared. "Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don't need somebody to say, okay you're married."

However, Johnny Depp did add at the time: "If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not," he said. "But the thing is, I'd be so scared of ruining her last name. She's got such a good last name."

Depp has been married once before to Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985. He's also previously been engaged to actresses Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Fenn, and Winona Ryder.
