As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 continues its hiatus, some spoilers and theories about the character have surfaced.

Right now, there is a lot of intrigue surrounding "Once Upon a Time" season 3 episode 18, due to the fact that both young Prince Leopold and young Cora will be in it.

Actress Rose McGowan has already been confirmed to reprise her role for a flashback storyline, and recent spoilers appear to allude to a romantic entanglement with Snow White's father.

"When the magical drama finally returns after its wickedly long hiatus, we'll be treated to a flashback starring young Prince Leopold. Did we mention that he's single in these scenes?" writes E! Online.

"Get ready to watch the charming lad's quest to find a suitable queen for the kingdom."

Does this mean Prince Leopold once had a dalliance with Cora?

Meanwhile, spoilers also confirm that "Once Upon  Time" season 3 episode 16, "It's Not Easy Being Green," will reveal the Wicked Witch's backstory.

"She's got a whole backstory and mythology," says series co-creator Adam Horowitz. "We used the original [L. Frank Baum] book as a jumping-off point, and then spun her in a hopefully unique, 'Once Upon a Time way.'"

The most popular theory about the rivalry and hatred between the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader) and Regina is that of a love triangle. Perhaps Robin Hood is somehow involved?
