Khloe Kardashian's rumored boyfriend, Matt Kemp, may not be able to play on opening day when the L.A. Dodgers meet the Arizona Diamondbacks on a two-game series in Australia on March 22-23.

The L.A. Times said that baseball star Matt Kemp is still recovering from a major surgery on his left ankle and another surgery on his left shoulder.

During the annual FanFest sponsored by the team, Matt Kemp told reporters: "If I'm ready to play, I'll play. If not, I'm not going to play. I don't want to come back at 80% and get hurt again. I want to be 100% the whole year and give everybody what I can give them with a full year of me being healthy."

Even if the surgery might sideline him on opening day, Khloe Kardashian's rumored boyfriend Matt Kemp still thinks that he's one of the best.

"I never thought I wasn't one of the best players in the game. I work hard at this game. It's something I love to do. I've had some pretty good success at it. You've got to consider yourself one of the best to be the best and I do," the L.A. Times reported.

Matt Kemp has been linked to Khloe Kardashian after she filed for divorce from her husband, Lamar Odom. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star sold the mansion she shared with Lamar Odom and bought a house near Matt Kemp's Calabasas neighborhood.

Meanwhile, basketball star Lamar Odom misses how Khloe Kardashian can always make him laugh, an insider told HollywoodLife.com.

The source said: "He talks about her from time to time. He misses some of the good times they shared. She would always make him laugh and do little sexy sh*t and wear hooker clothes for him around the house."
