Jared Padalecki’s Twitter Post Under Scrutiny Again! ‘Supernatural’ Actor Deletes “Stupid” Tweet About Philip Seymour Hoffman After Backlash?

Jared Padalecki seemed to not have learned a lesson over his Twitter posts as the "Supernatural" actor's recent tweet over Philip Seymour Hoffman's death is under scrutiny after the same received a backlash.

Jared Padalecki tweeted: "'Sad' isn't the word I'd use to describe a 46 year old man throwing his life away to drugs. "Senseless" is more like it. "Stupid.'"

Jared Padalecki, whose Twitter account has more than 1 million followers, immediately deleted the post following the backlash over the word "stupid" that he used as well as the timing of the post which was uploaded just hours after Philip Seymour Hoffman's death was announced, according to blog.zap2it.com.

According to MailOnline, among his followers who took offense was @kellympiercy, who wrote: "Jared Padalecki; you dare tweet such insensitive things and tarnish the good Gilmore name! Shame on you bro."

Mike Salisbury, @Boy_from_school, chimed in: "You know what I think is stupid Jared Padalecki? THAT SUPERNATURAL CONTINUES TO BE ON TELEVISION IN 2014."

Jared Padalecki then posted two more tweets to explain what he meant.

"I didnt mean PSH is stupid or that addiction isnt a reality. I simply meant I have a different definition of "tragedy,'" he wrote.

"When I think "tragedy", I think of St Judes, of genocide, of articles I read in the paper. But, yes, either way, a death, is sad," Jared Padalecki added.

This is not the first time the "Supernatural" actor was criticized by users.

When police raided Justin Bieber's home and arrested his friend, Lil Za, earlier this month for MDMA and Xanax found on his possession, Jared Padalecki took to Twitter and wrote:

"Hey @justinbieber, how much are you paying your friend for pretending that it was HIS cocaine, and taking the fall for you?" Padalecki tweeted.

The throng of Bieber fans, who call themselves "Beliebers," took to Twitter to defend their idol. They even threatened to stop watching Supernatural as a show of protest for Padalecki's malicious tweet, TMZ reported.
