Dylan Farrow's open letter published in the New York Times resurrected the sexual assault charges on Woody Allen that allegedly happened more than 20 years ago.  The letter also called out some of Allen's actors.

The excerpt from the letter from Nicholas Kristof's blog at NY Times: "What if it had been your child, Cate Blanchett? Louis CK? Alec Baldwin? What if it had been you, Emma Stone? Or you, Scarlett Johansson? You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton. Have you forgotten me?"

Cate Blanchett is nominated for the Academy Awards Best Actress for the movie "Blue Jasmine" which Woody Allen directed. Is it ironic that Allen is one of the directors that most female fans admire because of he puts them in lead roles? In an appearance at the Santa Barbara Film festival, Blanchett told journalist Jeffrey Wells of Hollywood-Elsewhere:  "It's obviously been a long and painful situation for the family and I hope they find some sort of resolution and peace."

For co-star Alec Baldwin, it was not so diplomatic. He responded to a fan's question on Twitter, asking whether he should apologize to Dylan. The messages have been deleted from Baldwin's account but E! News managed to save it: "What the f--k is wrong w u that u think we all need to b commenting on this family's personal struggle?" "So you know who's guilty? Who's lying? You, personally, know that?" he replied to another, before tweeting, "You are mistaken if you think there is a place for me, or any outsider, in this family's issue."

The much-awaited response from Woody Allen has yet to be released. Most of the statements from his camp were read by his representative or his lawyers. Other actors mentioned like comedian Louis CK or Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson (who have worked with Woody Allen at some point) have yet to make any reactions to the open letter.
