David Beckham’s Recent H&M Super Bowl Ad Is Most Voted; Former Footballer Returns To Major League Soccer!

David Beckham's recent H&M Super Bowl ad earned the most interest among voters, the former footballer hunk revealed. Aside from making news for stripping his clothes off, the outfielder also made headlines as he marks his return to Major League Soccer.

David Beckham wrote on his Twitter account, which is being followed by 33 million fans: "'#uncovered was the most voted #BeckhamforHM ad!"

According to MailOnline, advertisers typically spend $4 million to snag precious airtime for the Super Bowl extravaganza in the effort to reach out to 100 million viewers.

David Beckham debuted his new ad for H&M Bodywear Spring 2014 Collection at Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2, 2014. The ending, however, was left entirely for the fans to decide.

David Beckham filmed two versions of the 30-second ad, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (director of "Drive"). Fans were encouraged to vote online whether they want the soccer player to be covered or uncovered, or with briefs on or briefs off.

In an earlier press material provided by H&M, David Beckham said, "There [are] two different endings. I think I know what one is gonna end up being shown, which is even more nerve-wracking."

He said that he had fun doing the commercial although "a little bit cold" considering that he was filming "on the rooftop for three days kind of almost naked."

'Having it [the ad] at the Super Bowl, it's no bigger and better than that," David Beckham added. "So, it's kind of daunting because obviously there are so many people watching it. But I'm excited to see what people think."

Meanwhile, the former Manchester United player will return to Major League Soccer as owner of Miami Team that will join the league but won't play until 2016. The news is expected to be announced on Wednesday in a press conference to be attended by Don Garber, the league commissioner, the New York Times reported.

David Beckham's ownership of the team was a result of his original contract when he joined the league in 2007. According to the stipulations of his contract, he would be given the rights to buy a team for the "below-market rate of $25 million," the news site added.
