Upcoming LG Phones 2014: The G Pro 2 Will Have Much Better Camera, Packed With OIS And 4K Video Recording

One of the anticipated upcoming LG phones in 2014 is the second generation handset of the Optimus line. But while the Korean manufacturer has dropped the 'Optimus', we can still expect great things from the G Pro 2.

In a new report, one of the things we could be expecting is the camera, which reportedly has a number of neat features.

According to GSM Arena, LG itself revealed a set of new specs for the upcoming Optimus Pro successor. This includes a camera that is able to capture up to 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution videos. Bearing only 13-megapixels, this is quite a feat for LG and a sure selling point among its consumers.

In addition, the rear camera is also powered by improved optical image stabilization (OIS+) for better quality in images. Other usual camera features are also present such as the burst shot mode, slow-motion capture and others.

As it turns out, LG plans to beat its own flagship, the G2 in order to deliver only the latest cutting edge technology to its mobile market.

Previous reports claim the LG G Pro 2 will be announced at the MWC in Barcelona, so stay tuned.
