Serena Williams Boyfriend: Coach Uses Math For Victories? French Tennis Star Patrick Mouratoglou Uses Statistics, Databases To Calculate Opponents Strengths, Weaknesses

Serena Williams coach and rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou has said that he prepares his players by giving them inputs on the strengths and weaknesses of their adversaries, TennisEarth.com reports.

"Year after year, I have built my database with all the information that I consider decisive on every one of them. I use that information when I prepare my player before every match," he said, according to the site.

"More than knowing how the opponent is playing, my client needs to have clear information on strengths and weaknesses, the most-used combination of shots, patterns on the major points, where the opponent serves and where he returns on both first and second serve. Before every match, I set up a strategy taking into consideration, both my player's game, strengths, favourite combinations and the opponent's weaknesses. During the warm-up before the match we repeat as an actor repeats his play the partition we are going to play during the match."

The French tennis star made a post on Twitter about Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeating Maria Sharapova in a recent Open GDF Suez tennis match.

The Russian tennis player criticized Patrick Mouratoglou last year for dating Serena Williams while going through divorce paperwork.

"At the #gazdefranceopenparis to support @NastiaPav for her semifinals vs #sharapova"
