Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Two Galaxy S5 Variants 'Active' And 'Zoom' Rumored Long Before The Original Version Is Announced

There are already a number of exciting upcoming Samsung phones for 2014, some of which include the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, and the upcoming Galaxy S5.

Speaking of the company's upcoming flagship device, a new report claims that the Korean tech giant will be releasing two new versions of it - the Galaxy S5 Active, and Galaxy S5 Zoom.

Last year, Samsung released not only a flagship device in the Galaxy S4, but built an entirely family altogether. The Galaxy S4 Active and Zoom become available shortly after the original S4's launch, and surprisingly become hit devices as well, particularly the rugged S4 Active.

A water and dustproof Android phone, the S4 Active reportedly accumulated over 20 percent of all Galaxy S4 devices around the world. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S4 Zoom may not have done much, but it is still well-received as far as its target market is concerned.

This year, Samsung will reportedly launch an S5 Active according to Korean website ET News. A leaked document from Indian import database Zauba on the other hand revealed a Samsung phone with model number SM-C115 and described as a "mobile camera for R&D purpose".

Of course both of these Galaxy S5 variants are not yet confirmed, considering their original sibling has not even been released yet. We'll bring you the latest updates in the coming weeks.
