iPad Pro Rumors: Unannounced iPad's 12.9" Screen Could Be Made Up Of Sapphire, New Slate Allegedly Gets 2K Display, More Powerful Chipset

With the recent news about Apple's ability to order over 100 million sapphire displays for the iPhone, it could also do the same with the upcoming iPad Pro.

iPad Pro rumors have certainly died down for the past few weeks due to the increasing number of leaks and rumors about devices which would make their way to the MWC in Barcelona.

However, that does not neglect the fact that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro could be one of the most successful devices ever to launch this year - that is if it actually sees the light of day.

Previous rumors of a tablet-laptop design have made their way in the market and more people are becoming excited about this Apple tablet. And with the addition of more durable and thinner sapphire displays, the largest iPad could be the most sold as well.

Some of the previous rumors about the 12.9" slate include a 2k display, a much more powerful chipset to stand against the laptop competition, and a 64-bit iOS 8 operating system.
