The sequel "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will bring back Earth's Mightiest Heroes and it will also introduce new characters into the big screen. The Vision and Scarlet Witch actually have a 'history' in the comics.

In the comic books, The Vision and the Scarlet Witch are a couple, even though Vision is pretty much an android. These are comic book stories and anything is possible, anyway. Movies.com gives a short run-through of the Vision and Scarlet Witch affair in the comics:

"Their flirtation and courtship ran through most of the Avengers comics from the early 1970s, with Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) wondering if she could truly love someone who was a synthetic human (in Marvel terms, not a robot, but a "synthezoid"). Vision struggled with whether a human woman would ever return the love he felt for her. There was a lot of secret, passionate, angst-ridden longing before the two heroes ever confessed their feelings for one another. Once their feelings were out there in the open, even more soap opera conflict reared its head."

The relationship led to marriage, and they became popular with the comics crowd. They even had two mini-series in the 1980s! However, the relationship ended with a story arc in the West Coast Avengers comic where the Vision's memory was wiped clean (much like a computer reformat) and it caused much emotional strain on the Scarlet Witch and it eventually led to madness.

The movie does not have to follow that storyline, as always. Ultron's origin is already modified and since Paul Bettany is the voice of JARVIS, Tony Stark's virtual butler, there is reason to believe that the billionaire genius has some involvement-which is not the case in the comics. It is still a question, therefore, if they will also modify the Vision and Scarlet Witch romance angle.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios President of Productions Kevin Feige has confirmed the rumor that "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will shoot in South Korea. He released a statement, posted in Hitfix: "South Korea is the perfect location for a movie of this magnitude because it features cutting-edge technology, beautiful landscapes and spectacular architecture."

The production has already begun in South Africa. Italy is another rumored destination. "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" explodes in theatres on May 1, 2015.
