Upcoming Android phones 2014: For the past weeks, we have been hearing or reading a lot about the upcoming OnePlus One smartphone. Now, it has been confirmed that the soon to be announced device will get a Snapdragon 801 chipset as well. 

OnePlus, which is composed of former Oppo employees, really knows how to make a smartphone look tempting. For months, the company has been claiming that it would be one of the best smartphones in the market when it goes official. 

Its CEO and employees certainly know what they are talking about. 

According to a report from GSM Arena, a new teaser image confirmed that the CyanogenMod-powered handset would get a Snapdragon 801, which will make it on par with current flagships such as the Galaxy S5, the Oppo Find 7, and the soon to be announced All New One from HTC. 

Aside from that, other features also make it a unique device, one of which is the replaceable back cover that can enable its owner to use a wide range of back covers which include silk, bamboo and even kevlar. 

There is also a 13MP camera from Sony that promises excellent image quality.
