Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Review: Specs Of 13.3-inch Windows 8.1 Ultrabook Incl. 4th Gen Core i5 Processor, 4GB SDRAM, 512GB SSD; Hybrid Device Labeled A ‘Basically Perfect Upgrade’

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro review: Specs of the 13.3-inch Windows 8.1 Ultrabook includes a 4th-en Core i5 processor, 4GB SDRAM and 512GB Solid State Drive. The device, which has been describe as a “basically perfect upgrade” from its previous version boots up in record time. It also sports a 13.3-inch big Gloss Multi-touch with a hi-res display of 3200 x 1900.

According to Gizmodo, the new Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro, which succeeds the Lenovo Yoga 2, calls the ultrabook “basically a perfect upgrade.” It refines the specs of its predecessors and adds a super high-res screen on top.

Although the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro isn’t thinner than last year’s model, it does feel thinner because of its tapered edges, noted Gizmodo. It’s also pleasant to hold and pick up compared to machines with wedge designs like the Macbook Air.

The screen of the Lenovo Yoga 2 is top of the class. It’s vibrant and bright. Gizmodo said that the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is brighter than the Kirabook and better than the 1080p display of the Vaio Pro and Aspire S7.

The screen’s official brightness is 350 nits, a bit higher than what most ultrabooks run in, which is at 300. The extra oomph, noted Gizmodo is the added pixel density. It also has a 6-hour battery life, which though shorter for a machine that has a Haswell chip, is probably caused by the screen quality consuming a good amount of battery power.
