Cheap Android phones 2014: There are a number of fresh and powerful smartphones in the market today, but in case you are looking for cheaper ones but still pack enough power to help you go through your everyday tasks, then you might want to check this handset.

According to a report by GSM Arena, French manufacturer Wiko has recently launched its newest smartphone.

Dubbed as the WAX, the Android-powered handset packs a 4.7-inch screen with 720p resolution, a quad-core CPU with four Cortex-A9 cores running at 1.7GHz, and Tegra 4i GPU chip.

Other specs of the device include an 8-megapixel camera at the back, a 5MP front-facing shooter, 4GB of internal memory, LTE connectivity and a microSD card slot.

In the report, the Wiko Wax will debut in select EU markets beginning next month, with pricing in Italy, Germany and France to notch just €200.

The fact that it has NVIDIA's Tegra 4i chip is also a good bargain for the relatively affordable pricetag.
