Upcoming Android tablets 2014: For the past few days, we have been reading about an upcoming 7-inch Samsung tablet, and in a new report, we see what could be an official press render of the device. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the rumored Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 appears in a leaked image tweeted by notorious leakster EV Leaks. 

While there are no official details yet about the device, some rumored specs include a 7-inch display with a low-end WVGA screen, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, an unknown chipset, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. 

Other alleged specs which are probably accurate are a 3MP primary camera at the back and 1.3MP front-facing cam, Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, and a fairly large 4,450mAh battery. 

It is also worth noting that the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is much thinner than its predecessors, perfect for consumers who prefer a lightweight Android companion that would not cost them too much money. 

In case you are betting on this entry-level Android tablet, then you may want to prepare for its launch on April 23. By then, we will see if its availability and pricing details are also favorable for the mass market.
