Ultimate Warrior is dead. WWE officially announced the passing of one of the biggest wrestlers that WWE had.

Ultimate Warrior, known as Jim Hellwig in real life died at the age of 54 was reportedly seen walking towards his car and collapsed. His cause of death was suspected to be heart attack but no official statements has been given yet.

WWE officially announced on their website:

“WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. “

Triple H also confirmed on his Twitter account about the passing of one of WWE’s premier wrestler of his time.

The Ultimate Warrior was given the chance to immortalize his name over the weekend after he became part of the most prestigious award given to WWE, the Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place over the weekend the night before Wrestlemania 30

“If you really want the biggest bang for your buck, do something self-destructive, get exiled and still come back to headline the Hall of Fame”, said Warrior.

“The Ultimate Warrior is a legend … Ultimate Warrior fans are legendary,” said Warrior. He was appreciative of his time in the ring, saying he was glad he got to “experience the magic”. “The Ultimate Warrior didn’t give me what I needed to make a match work, it gave me what I needed to make life worth.”
