OnePlus One Teased In Unboxing Video By Owner Steve Kondik Himself, Leaves You Wanting For More

OnePlus One: If you have been checking some tech and gadget reports lately, then you should be familiar with the upcoming OnePlus One smartphone from the makers of CyanogenMod.

And while bloggers, analysts, geeks and consumers are already looking forward to the device's April 23 launch, it looks like the excitement is also evident in the company's camp.

In fact, OnePlus owner and founder himself Steve Kondik is so excited about the upcoming CyanogenMod-powered OnePlus that he made an unboxing video of the device, way ahead of its launch!

According to a report of GSM Arena, the company may indeed be looking to increase the hype even further with its newest video. In the clip, Kondik showed the OnePlus package, took out some smaller boxes, probably some battery, manuals or earphones, and then...just watch this clip.

So, the actual device continues to be teased. But from what we saw, the box containing the OnePlus One looks a bit smaller than what usual. And with a display at 5.5 inches, it should have been a little taller.

If that tells us something, it is that the OnePlus One will have slim top and bottom bezels, similar to the recently announced Aquos phone from Sharp.

In case you are looking for more info, the OnePlus One is a monster device that can easily rival any released flagship in the market today. It is rumored to boast a Full HD display, Snapdragon 801 chipset similar to Samsung's Galaxy S5, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP Sony-manufactured camera.

The phone also runs on CyanogenMod version of Android 4.4 Kitkat, and will be packed by a 3,100mAh battery, which is already pretty decent considering the phone's display quality and chipset's processing power.

However, the main selling point of the product is actually the price, with a reported price below $400. That means with the OnePlus One, you can buy almost two handsets whereas you can only get one Samsung Galaxy S5 or HTC One (M8).

So are you excited with this Android-powered device as well?
