Bourne Movie 5 is scheduled for a summer release date on 2015, however fans of the successful franchise are still hoping to see Matt Damon back as Jason Bourne again.

That includes, "Bourne" movie producer Frank Marshall, who dreams of having both Jeremy Renner and Matt Damon on the film. That would be a refreshing idea, after all the film is entitled after Jason Bourne's character right?

However, without director Paul Greengrass to helm the fifth installment of the film, it will be impossible for Damon to return to the franchise.

"I really want to do another one and I think Paul Greengrass does too," Damon admitted, "But I think it's the same question we've had after each one. If we really feel we can do it and that it will deserve to live with the other three that we did. If we can make one where we go into it feeling it can be even better than those, and it ends up being in that same ballpark, then we should do it. But If we can't, then we really should leave it alone."

The "Bourne Movie 5" topic was brought up, during the Captain Phillips press release and Greengrass explained his rather difficult decision to leave the franchise.

"I can't speak for Matt, but I agonized for a long period of time about it. In the end I felt I had given it my all in two films I'm very proud of and didn't want to make another if I didn't believe it could be as good if not better," he explained to Deadline.

In addition, Matt Damon is set to play a part in director Terry Gilliam's new sci-fi drama 'The Zero Theorem without even reading the script.

"I called Matt and said, 'I've got a small part for you, probably four or five days, I'll send you the script.' He said, 'Don't bother, I'm in,'" Gilliam said.

Matt Damon will be joined by Tilda Swinton and "Skyfall" actor Ben Whishaw who all jumped in without reading the script or an agreed salary.

"(Tilda and I) had met at different festivals and always said we ought to work together, Ben Whishaw, the same thing. And basically I just called them and they all just came and they worked for scale, that's how we made the film, because we didn't have the budget," Gilliam revealed.

Bourne movie 5 release date is scheduled on Aug. 14, 2015. Deadline confirmed the news that Jeremy Renner would be back to reprise his role as Aaron Cross, meaning it will not follow the story of Robert Ludlum hero Jason Bourne.
