Bethesda Planning Boston Fallout 4 Release Date Announcement With PAX East? Christmas Launch Rumors Circulate Before 2014 E3!

As the summer begins to roll around, fans waiting for a Fallout 4 release date announcement have two events on their radar—PAX East and E3.

PAX East is a conference taking place in Boston this weekend, and Bethesda is expected to make an appearance.

Of course, this has many fans predicting that, with Fallout 4 taking place in Boston, Bethesda might make a release date announcement at PAX East.

However, don't get your hopes up, as iDigitalTimes contributor Mo Mozuch is confirming that the only slated appointments for Bethesda at PAX East are regarding The Evil Within and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

And what does Pete Hines say about a Fallout 4 release date?

"Expect it never and be surprised if it's any time before then."

But despite low expectations, be sure to have your eyes peeled for any Fallout 4 new this weekend.

And besides, the much more likely event to make such a big announcement would be E3.

Taking place June 10 to June 12, the 2014 E3 is taking place right when a lot of Bethesda's projects will be either released (with Wolfenstein: The New Order) or just about two (with ESO and The Evil Within).

If Bethesda wants to be taken seriously and not be overshadowed, they will have to make some big splash at E3, and a Fallout 4 focus might just do the trick.

Currently, popular opinions believe that Fallout 4 will be released sometime this Christmas season, but what do you think?
