Southampton will face off against rival Cardiff City on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Southampton, coming out of a 4-1 loss to Manchester City, is expected to be the underdog in the match.

Southampton Manager Mauricio Pochettino said his future remains "open," Sky Sports reports.

"In football I am very much accustomed to living with these rumours. I have been living with and hearing these rumours all my life, firstly as a player, and then as a manager. I am just calm. I am not reacting to these rumours," he said, according to the site.

"I am fully focused on the job ahead. My job ahead is these last five games of the season with Southampton to try and get as many points as we can."

Cardiff City, coming out of a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Cardiff City Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær said he stands by his players after a "team-sheet leak" prior to defeat by Crystal Palace, The Telegraph reports. 

"My week has been on how we can possibly get the best chance against Southampton," he said, according to the site.

"I just pass you on to Mehmet. Speak to the chairman. I have got no reason to doubt any player's professionality, honesty, integrity, loyalty."
