Top Android games 2014: If you enjoyed the first Wind-Up Knight, then you will surely love its sequel. And after going live in Canada and other selected regions for a short amount of time, the game is finally available from Google's Play Store worldwide. 

According to a report by Android Authority, the simple runner game has arrived to the Play Store and both casual and hardcore players can download it now for free. 

If you missed the first installment of the game, Wind-Up Knight 2 is a side-scrolling platformer game that boasts a cute animated graphics, a stunning and beautiful gaming world, and lots of obstacles and enemies along the way. 

As the 'wind-up knight', your job is to get through each stage without hitting any obstacles, otherwise you stop running and fail the level. 

Similar to the first game, there are a lot of features in the game aside from plainly running. Throughout the game, your knight will also roll, jump, and slide your way to victory. 

In this version of the game, the report says that there would be side quests to finish which provide more content for the game, as well as a tournament mode where you can challenge your friends or other players online. 

There would also be upgrades to further customize your knight into your own liking. Buy new swords, armor, and other equipment to help you go through the tough levels and accomplish your mission. 

While the game is completely free to download from the Play Store, it contains in-app purchases which you may avail to help you get through missions and levels much easier.
