Blackberry Z10 Review: Specs Of 4.2-inch Touchscreen Smartphone Incl. 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Processor; BB10 Powered Unit Designed For Multitasking

Blackberry Z10 review: Specs of the 4.2-inch touchscreen smartphone by Blackberry, the Blackberry Z10 runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and is BB10 powered. The well-designed unit by the former tech leader has been noted for its reliability when it comes to multitasking.

The Blackberry Z10, which was launched last year according to Phones Review U.K., was on sale in India a few weeks ago. The unit’s price was cut to RS 17,990 (est. $299) at one point. The price slash was a deduction of up to 60% on the handset’s initial selling price in the country. The gadget review site said that the “low price obviously saw a rush to pick one up with stocks quickly running dry.”

In a March 27 report, Phones Review U.K. noted that Blackberry has confirmed it has restocked the handset in India and it is still available at the low price. The promo though is available while stocks lasts, but the promotion is scheduled to end until the latter part of April.

In a spec sheet by Phone Arena, it noted the Blackberry Z10 as being a fully touchscreen BB10 device possessing modern specs. The 4.2-inch screen has an LCD display with 1280 x 786 pixels and it has a pixel density of 356 ppi. The smartphone is powered with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood and has 16GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot.

Phone Arena said that the BB10, which is running the Blackberry Z10 is a “true multitasking system.” The site noted that like Android, everything remains how you left it, or moves under the hood.

A quick search shows that the Blackberry Z10 is available unlocked from $399 to $415. AT&T offers the device for free on a service agreement.
