Moto X+1 Release Date: New Motorola Flagship Bringing More Customization Options Through Moto Maker, Includes Back Wooden And Leather Back Cover Options

Moto X+1 release date: Last year, Motorola introduced an entirely unique way to customize your phone. And the manufacturer allowed consumers to do so even before they get their smartphones!

The Moto Maker tool in Motorola's website has fascinated thousands of consumers who have bought the company's current flagship, the Moto X, and customized it in the most personal way possible.

Now, according to a report by GSM Arena and other tech blogs, notorious leakster EV Leaks posted on Twitter that Motorola will use the same feature for the customization of its upcomin flagship device - the Moto X+1.

Unlike last year that there are only a long list of back cover color options, Motorola has now grouped them together so consumers would not have a difficult time finding them.

There are also options for a wooden back cover, where you can choose among teak, bamboo, rosewood and ebony. There is also a leather option with different color choices.

However, Motorola should do better than just offer customization options. Above all, it should be able to provide a higher-end spec sheet that can satisfy both loyal Motorola and Android fans. A bigger screen, faster CPU, and the latest Snapdragon chipset will do.

Pricing will also be crucial for the upcoming smartphone. As more and more dirt-cheap smartphones are hitting stores today, most of which boast respectable specs, Motorola should be able to provide a competitive rate for its new phones.

Unfortunately, that is all we know about the Moto X+1 right now, aside from the one branding that has become quite popular recently.

Motorola has recently been sold by Google to Lenovo, and timely support for Android versions may not arrive as quickly as in previous models.

So are you eager to wait for this new Android-powered smartphone from Motorola, which once ruled the feature phone industry?
