The Giants took two of three from Colorado over the weekend and bounced back from a 1-0 defeat Saturday with a 5-4 win in 10 innings in the series finale. San Francisco has played six one-run games this season and four in a row.

"This was a big game," manager Bruce Bochy told the team's official website. "We're showing already that we're going to play a lot of tight ballgames."

Adrian Gonzalez has 11 of his team-best 14 RBIs in the last four games and has gone 7 for 13 in the past three to give him a nine-game hitting streak, according to ESPN.com.

"Man, he's smoking the ball," Kemp told ESPN.com. "He's probably the best hitter in the league right now."

On the mound for the Dodgers will be Josh Beckett. He is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA so far after one start where he went four innings and allowed four runs. His counterpart is another once dominant pitcher in Tim Lincecum. He is 0-1 with a 9.90 ERA. In his last start, he pitched four innings and allowed seven earned runs.
