A new Pokemon X and Y anime special has been announced that will run after the release of the movie "Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction."

According to Serebii, this special is titled "PokemonXY: Fragments of the Sky." Reportedly, it features Ash visiting an agency called PAXA as troubles brew.

Reportedly, this Pokemon X and Y special will air at the Konica Minolta Planetarium in Japan from July 19 to September 7, and will be 10 minutes long.

It is unclear how this Pokemon special is tied to the anime series or the upcoming movie, but given the timely release date, you can bet it has some tie-in to the expanding universe.

On the same day, a Diancie distribution will begin in Japan.

Reportedly, the Diancie distribution event will give Pokemon fans a Level 50 Diancie, with the moves Diamond Storm, Reflect, Moonblast, and Return. It will also hold a Normal Gem.

The distribution event will be held during the theater run of the Pokemon X and Y movie from July 19 to September 30.

Meanwhile, a DeviantArt user is making Pokemon fans everywhere rethink how fun Pokemon Snap would be in real life.

Arvalis recently uploaded a DeviantArt image of Mewtwo being found and captured on film in a cave. Looking like some crossover between "The Descent" and "The Blair Witch Project," this real life Pokemon image definitely adds a new layer of thinking to fans.
