Jupiter Ascending Star Channing Tatum Reveals Release Date For Magic Mike XXL! ‘More Conflict & Struggle’ Awaits The Crew

Summer just gets hotter! For next year that is. "Jupiter Ascending" star Channing Tatum reveals Magic Mike XXL's release date that is set to come out on July 3, 2015. A bold move from Warner Bros. as the film is about to go head on with Paramount's "Terminator" sequel.

Following MTV's recently concluded movie awards show this weekend, Tatum reveals his plans for the sequel titled "Magic Mike XXL." The "Jupiter Ascending" star is busy working hard with the script with his partner Reid Carolin.

The "Jupiter Ascending" hunk Channing Tatum divulges that Magic Mike XXL will take on the concept of a road-trip movie with more struggles but, still packed with fun and excitement. "This one, we want there to be a lot of conflict and a lot of struggle", he explained, "but we also want there to be a shit ton of fun, of ridiculous stuff you'll never see in a movie again."

Tatum believes that the entire team will be back to reprise their roles, although no deals are done yet. Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer who are included in the original film are all expected to make a comeback - they are more than welcome of course -

Magic Mike which was originally on 2012 sky rocketed to the box office making $113.7 million, in fact one of the most lucrative films ever made by director Steven Soderbergh. It is now on its way to becoming a Broadway musical.

However, this time around Soderbergh's go-to assistant will be helming Magic Mike 2 set for a release date on July 3, 2015.

In other news, "Jupiter Ascending" star Channing Tatum made a rather interesting revelation about a rumored project that has been circulating for a while.

"I met with Lauren Shuler Donner. And I would love it. Gambit is really the only X-Man I've ever loved. I mean I've loved them all, they're all great, but I guess from being down south - my dad's from Louisiana, I'm from Mississippi, Alabama, Florida - I don't know. I just related to him. He's just kind of suave. He's the most un-X-Men X-Man that's ever been in X-Men. Other than maybe Wolverine, who's like the anti-hero. He's a thief. He's not even a hero. He's kind of walking the line of grey. He loves women and drinking and smoking and stuff so he's just a cool guy who happens to have a moral centre.

"I hope it comes together. You never know, it's a weird industry. If the stars align, I would die to play it. I'm already working on the accent. It's crappy at the moment."

If the cards are played right, perhaps we could see "Jupiter Channing Tatum in X-Men: Apocalypse then.
