Jay Z and Pharell looked "Happy" during the encore performance at the Coachella 2014 when the singer brought in the music mogul at one point as Beyonce's husband makes another cameo during the weekend of festival.

The singer said that contrary to last week's Coachella 2014, where he was rendered helpless by the merciless desert winds, this time he was much better prepared. Aside from Jay Z, Pharell also collaborated with Usher and T.I. for a mesmerizing performance and capped it with his hit single, "Happy."

According to L.A. Times, Pharell Williams "looked miserable" in his debut on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last week. The "Happ" singer even said that if the conditions wouldn't improve over the weekend, he would come back on stage wearing a gas mask.

It turned out that the gas mask was unnecessary since by the end of his hour-long medley, Pharell Williams declared that it was the "best" he did in terms of live performance.

"The desert got me last time but not this time," Pharell said, according to L.A. Times.

It's not as if fans were complaining. Pharell's performance at the Coachella 2014 last week was something to behold as he collaborated with Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, Nelly and Busta Rhymes.

Last week, Jay Z also performed "Dead Presidents II" with Nas and P. Diddy to mark the 20th anniversary of Nas' album "Illmatic." The performance made more significant due to the fact that both Jay Z and Nas were former foes.

This time Jay Z made another cameo when he sang with Pharell the hit singles "Frontin,'" "Excuse Me Miss," "La La La (Excuse Me Miss Again)" and "I Just Wanna Love You (Give it 2 Me)," according to Billboard.

Coachella 2014, an annual music and arts festival in Indio, California which runs for two consecutive weeks that last three days.
