Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Unannounced Nokia Handset Will Get A New Name After Microsoft Acquisition, Could Even Acquire Rumored Smartwatch

Upcoming Nokia phones 2014: Last year, the entire mobile tech world was shocked when Nokia and Microsoft announced their deal that would bring the Finnish brand's mobile development department to Microsoft's compound. And in a recent report, the deal would take effect before the end of the month.

As a result, all of Nokia's upcoming smartphones would soon get a Microsoft branding instead, and that includes this rumored handset.

According to a report by GSM Arena, Nokia's rumored smartphone the Oyj, would be renamed to Microsoft Mobile Oy when the deal is completed.

In the report, Nokia's mobile division would still exist, but it will be fully subsidized by Microsoft. That means all the budget will come from the Redmond giant, and in return all of the division's profit would be enjoyed by the mother company as well.

In Microsoft's recent BUILD conference, Nokia has been given exclusive access to release its own devices, and that is entirely part of the plan.

The Redmond giant wants to build the hype of its soon to be released Windows Phone 8.1 update through Nokia's newly announced handsets, the Lumia 930 and the Lumia 630 and 635.

And what about profit? Nothing to worry about because the moment Nokia's mobile division moves to Microsoft, all of the sales from its previous releases would benefit the company as well.

In previous rumors, Nokia has allegedly been working on its own smartwatch. However, it looks like it would be given a new name even before it is released.

So, what do you think about the buyout?
