LG G3 Release Date: Leaked Screenshots Of Upcoming Flagship Showcase Clean And Simple UI, QHD (2560 x 1440) Resolution Confirmed

LG G3 release date: A couple of days ago, we read reports that the G3 mini is also already under development, and may be headed to stores sooner than we expected. But what about its bigger sibling, the upcoming G3 flagship?

According to recent report by GSM Arena, several leaked screenshots of the high-end devices have appeared over the Web and are now being feasted on by Android and LG fans.

So what do we get from these images?

In the report, the screenshots were said to be provided by a credible industry source so we have no reason to doubt that. In the image above, the line "You may want to take an umbrella since rain is expected during this afternoon" is actually a new feature that serves two functions - it tells time, and uses creative statements tailored for your personal habits.

It is a simple addition, but if it would work properly, it could be one of the strengths of LG's new version of Optimus UI.

According to recent reports, the LG G3 will feature a 5.5-inch LCD with QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 3GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, and a Snapdragon 801 chipset.

Other rumored specs include a 16MP primary camera with OIS, 32GB of internal memory with microSD card slot, a 3,000mAh battery, Android Kitkat out of the box, and water and dust resistance.

Interestingly, the upcoming flagship is said to be based on the recently leaked LG isai FL, which would be exclusive for the Japanese market. Purported specs of the device include the same details mentioned above, though we are pretty sure the two high-end devices will not be simply variants.

So, is the LG G3 shaping up to be the best Android powered phone in the market?
