In terms of weight, it's six grams lighter and sports an interchangeable strap that allows user to match it with the color of their choice.

According to PC Pro U.K., the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 processor has been upgraded to 1GHz and the display remains the same as before. The Super AMOLED panel measures 1.63 inches across the diagonal and has a resolution of 320 x 320. The colors of the unit are bright and intensely saturated.

The major changes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 is with the hardware. The unit's camera has moved from the strap to the body of the watch, enabling the user to swap the strap of the unit whenever. Available colors of the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 straps include black, brown, and orange while a number of designer options are expected to follow.
