‘Batman Vs Superman’ Cast Rumors: Cyborg To Be Played By Ray Fisher! Sequel Shaping Up As A Justice League Introduction!

The latest addition for the "Man of Steel" sequel tentatively titles "Batman Vs Superman" has been confirmed. Cyborg, a member of the Justice League and Teen Titans in the comics is a character that will be introduced in the film.

The report came from Variety which is a very reliable mainstream source of casting rumors. Their take:

"After testing actors over the past couple of weeks, Warner Bros. and DC have tapped theater actor Ray Fisher for the role of Cyborg in the untitled Batman-Superman pic.

Victor Stone or Cyborg, while not a major part in the Batman-Superman feature, is a member of the Justice League, and the role will become much more significant role as Warner and DC develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm.

Warner Bros. had no comment on this story."

While no official word from the studio was released, Variety has correctly named most of the cast.

As of now, Fisher will be joining Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot,, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto as the cast for Warner Bros. tentpole superhero movie.

Cyborg has already been the subject of speculation from the movie websites. The football game was a big clue and Easter eggs of Star Labs sighted in "Man of Steel" were enough to make the connection.

Cyborg will be the fourth member of the Justice League that is confirmed to appear in the movie after Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The characters of Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Tao Okamoto are still not determined.

"Batman Vs Superman" has the herculean task of introducing the new DC Universe while picking up where "Man Of Steel" left off. Director Zack Snyder will have to make that delicate balance. It is highly believed that a full "Justice League" movie will follow the film and more characters will be introduced.

Will the big revelations be enough to make "Batman Vs Superman" the winner of its duel with "Captain America 3?" We'll find out on May 6, 2016.
