HTC One M8 Mini Rumored Specs Include 4.5" Display, Snapdragon 400, Quad-Core CPU, 13MP Shooter, Tipped To Arrive In Verizon In May

HTC One M8 mini specs: More than a month ago, HTC has did it. It was able to take on Samsung's flagship smartphone while it was being announced in New York and London. A couple of minutes later, HTC One M8 handsets are already available in certain stores in the UK, while the US gets the smartphone right away through Verizon.

Now, it looks like Big Red is also eyeing the smaller version of the device - the One M8 mini.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a recent tweet by notorious leakster EV Leaks tells us that the smaller edition of HTC's flagship could be initially available in the US through Verizon.

The HTC One M8 became available in the country through Verizon just hours after the official announcement, and other carriers such as AT&T and Sprint did not get the device until two weeks after.

It looks like the Taiwanese manufacturer wants to repeat the same strategy, possibly to gauge the initialdemand that its devices are getting. It's not as if they can modify a smartphone's interior and specs in a span of weeks, but it could be related to shipping issues.

In case you have missed previous rumors about the One M8 mini, it allegedly packs a 4.5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Surprisingly, HTC chose to stick with megapixels here, and the One M8 mini could arguably be considered better than its bigger sibling. It allegedly boasts a 13MP camera at the back, and the same 5MP shooter in front.

Also on board are on-screen buttons. the usual connectivity features, Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, and Sense 6.0.

In the report, the HTC One M8 mini is tipped for a May launch, so we are expecting it sooner rather than later.
