Though Katy Perry parted ways with John Mayer, it doesn't mean that she isn't on the lookout for a new guy. During her interview with Power 105.1's show, The Breakfast Club, she revealed her newest strategy for her Katy Perry boyfriend 2014 mission.

"I'm really deep on Tinder so I don't have a whole lot of time," said the 29-year-old songstress who was pertaining to the latest app Tinder. The Tinder app basically matches someone based on his or her age, sex, and location. The Tinder app will then generate several potentials and if one finds the candidate attractive, the user has to swipe the mobile screen to the right. Swiping to the left means disinterest.

Will Katy Perry's boyfriend 2014 come from the app? Recently, she has been linked to Australian DJ Diplo whom she spent the Coachella music festival with as per Page Six: "It was very obvious that Katy and Diplo were together. They seemed inseparable and at one point they were seen getting onto her bus together."

Though she is still being linked to Robert Pattinson whom she considers her "younger brother", the 'Dark Horse' lyrics singer emphasizes her single status. She remains mum about her heartbreak with Mayer but as per insiders, the relationship fell apart because of the 36-year-old crooner's cheating.

Even if Katy Perry's boyfriend 2014 hunt might be ongoing, one of E! Online's source says that she is very busy with her tour rehearsals: "Katy is focused on her tour right now. She is not allowing anything to distract her from it."

Perry's 'Prismatic World Tour' will officially commence on May 7 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, United Kingdom.
