While it is unknown whether Nina Dobrev's boyfriend is existent, he must have felt a tinge of jealousy upon seeing the preview of the 25-year-old brunette beauty's topless scene in 'Let's Be Cops'.

In the comedy film, the 'Vampire Diaries' actress plays the role of a waitress who tries to seduce 'New Girl' actor Damon Wayans Jr. by removing her shirt. Clad in nothing but a black miniskirt, Dobrev coyly poses for the stunned police officer.

In Nina Dobrev's boyfriend topless scene, Wayans Jr. is trying to explain that he is a fake police officer. However, Dobrev whipped off her top which changed the mind of Wayans Jr. and made him blurt: "I am a cop!"

The upcoming flick, which also stars another 'New Girl' actor Jake Johnson, has a synopsis which reads:

"Two struggling pals dress as police officers for a costume party and become neighborhood sensations. But when these newly-minted "heroes" get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line."

What the duo thought was a costume parade turned out to be an avenue for solving real-life crimes. How will the two get out of the mess which they are trapped in? Will they be able to tell the truth that they are merely impersonators?

The film is scheduled for release on August 17.

Meanwhile, the identity of Nina Dobrev's boyfriend in real life remains unheard of although fans are still crossing fingers that she'll rekindle her romance with 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Ian Somerhalder.
