Miley Cyrus' scandals and intriguing antics took a break because of her hospitalization earlier this month. The 'Adore You' lyrics songstress has been forced to stay in bed after having an allergic reaction to a medication.

Though it was an opportunity for her to take a rest, the 21-year-old songstress says that her hospitalization was a frightening experience: "I'm doing good, much better. It was so scary. I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn't know I was really scary allergic to. It was insane."

Apart from Miley Cyrus' scandals, several shows of her Bangerz tour likewise got cancelled for she needed to undergo treatment in Kansas right away. Liam Hemsworth's former fiancée says she literally pleaded her doctors to let her out of the hospital.

 "I was crying because I was so bored. I'm laying here hooked to all these machines. Every two hours, some woman comes in and pokes me with a needle, just miserable. I'm just laying here with nothing to do. I was begging the doctors, 'Let me out to go do the show!' It was basically no way," she explained.

How did she cope with the boredom and frustration that she felt during her five-day hospitalization?

"I ended up doing way too much online shopping, and whatever they had me on to make me not in pain, I made some very questionable choices on what I bought. I don't know what this hot pink mini-skirt is that I bought in the hospital," said the former Disney star.

If there's one thing which she loved about being hospitalized, she said it was the chance to ride an ambulance for the first time.

Cyrus will be resuming her Bangerz tour in Europe this coming Friday.
