One Direction 'Where We Are' World Tour In Peru Leaves 47 Fans Injured; Brit Crooners Threatened To Leave Stage Just To Stop Rampage

At young ages, the One Directions crooners have already come to terms with their impact towards girls. This has been proven during the One Direction 'Where We Are' world tour in Lima, Peru last April 27 wherein nearly 50 fans have been injured after a stampede.

During the unfortunate One Direction 'Where We Are' world tour in Peru, thousands of fans rushed towards the stage injuring those who were standing in front. Forty-seven fans needed immediate medical treatment. Fortunately, several emergency treatment centers were scattered around the venue.

"We treated 47 children with the first stages of asphyxia. Everything is under control. We have nothing to be ashamed of - we've handled the situation well. We put in place a second evacuation plan so that the younger fans were not affected," said Peru's fire service volunteer head Mario Cassareto.

On the other hand, the boy band members immediately recognized the rampage that they threatened to leave if the fans at the back of Lima's Estadio Nacional wouldn't stop. Niall Horan, in particular told the crowd:"If you don't want anyone to take us off the stage, make sure you stay back."

A few hours prior to the One Direction 'Where We Are' world tour, Liam Payne uploaded an Instagram photo which showed the view from his hotel balcony. Thousands of fans rallied in front of the hotel hoping that they'd have a glimpse of the boy band members.
