Prince Harry And Cressida Bonas Split, Kate Middleton And Prince William Celebrate Third Wedding Anniversary; Will Royal And Ex Girlfriend Get Back Together?

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas have split on the same day Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrate their third wedding anniversary. Will Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas get back together, the same way his older brother Prince William and wife Kate Middleton did?

According to BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt, Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas' split was "said to be 'amicable' and they remain 'the best of friends.'"

He said the prince was "keen, according to those who know him, to make it clear the relationship didn't end because he found Cressida 'too needy.'"

According to the Daily Telegraph, it was unwanted media attention and engagement speculation that led to Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas' break up, while the Press Association reported the couple decided to go their separate ways to allow Cressida Bonas to focus on her dance career.

News of the split came as Clarence House announced Prince Harry would embark on a three-day official visit to Estonia and Italy next month, BBC News reports. The Prince will meet servicemen like World War II veterans and serving military personnel during the trip.

News of Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas' split coincided with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's third wedding anniversary. Prince William and Kate Middleton famously broke up for several months four years before they married in 2011.

Does this mean Harry and Cressy have a chance to reconcile?

Showbiz Spy reported earlier this month that Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas had gotten cold feet about marrying a royal. Perhaps now that the pressure is off, she can reconsider how she feels about Harry and their future together.

"Cressida wants to slow things down," an insider dished to the publication.

"She's used to making her own schedule... and she doesn't wants to give up her entire life to attend royal engagements."

The source also revealed that Cressida talked to Kate Middleton about marrying into the royal family, but didn't like what she heard.

"Cressida has spoken to Kate Middleton about the expectations that come with being part of the royal family and how unbelievably busy she is... Kate's been honest about her struggles and it's been a lot for Cressida to process.

"The Queen has made it very clear that Harry would disappoint her if he doesn't find a wife and start a family by the time he was 30. If Cressy doesn't come around soon, he knows he'll have to find another woman."

Prince Harry will be 30 this September, a typical age for members of the Royal family to marry, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Harry, 29, and Cressy, 24, have been dating for two years.
