Nina Dobrev's boyfriend Derek Hough is now rumored to be dating Nikki Reed. The 25-year-old 'Twilight' actress reportedly seen kissing the 28-year-old 'Dancing with the Stars' contender last April at at the Rock & Reilly's in Los Angeles, California.

The couple has been spotted enjoying the night with other friends including Cheryl Burke and Mark Ballas. While the love life of Nina Dobrev's boyfriend Derek Hough remains free from complications, some fans questioned Reed who just announced her divorce with husband Paul McDonald last March.

"The whole group was drinking and partying. Derek bought shots for Nikki at the bar. There was lots of PDA, Nikki was feeding him, holding hands, and they left together. They didn't seem to care if anyone was watching," claimed one source to Us Magazine.

Apart from such night out, Reed was likewise spotted visiting the backstage of 'Dancing with the Stars' last Tuesday (April 29). As per an insider, Reed and Hough met because of the latter's sister and Dobrev's best friend, Julianne Hough.

As opposed to such claims, one insider reports that Reed is currently single: "Nikki isn't currently dating anyone. She is focused on her divorce from Paul and caring for that relationship as well as her latest film projects. Nikki and Julianne are good friends, and she has hung out with Derek a few times through her. They're having fun but it's nothing serious."

Two months ago, the representative of the 'Thirteen' actress confirmed the divorce of her client and McDonald because of "work obligations". Nonetheless, it does not mean that their separation will get in the way of their project: "They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, 'I'm Not Falling,' releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together."

In January 2013, Reed told Huffpost Celebrity that music helped a lot in her bond with McDonald: "When it comes to being newlyweds -- I know it's been like a year, almost a year and a half, but we're still newlyweds -- it's sweet because it creates a very romantic environment to go and do all this singing together."

On the other hand, Nina Dobrev and Derek Hough's dating story took place in October 2013 but ended after six weeks.
