Meanwhile, season 2, episode 3 returns as Carmen continues to try to achieve her dream of stardom.

In an interview with Zap2it, Edy Ganem recounted that she was in L.A. and joined "Devious Maids" Eva Longoria in events and charities, since she always wanted to get involved but didn't know how. She then had an opportunity to speak to one of the galas of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

"It was a very good experience and I want to keep doing that," she said. "Eva Longoria said, 'Edy Ganem is here, and she is the next Eva Longoria.' I seriously almost cried."

"Devious Maids" Eva Longoria then told her that they are placed on a position where they can contribute to changing the world.

Meanwhile, "Devious Maids" season 2, episode 3 called "Dangerous Liaisons" continues with Carmen preparing for her big debut performance although her arrangement with Alejandro on her road to becoming famous might have changed.

As shown in the last episode, Carmen felt threatened by somebody from Alejandro's past and went on survival mode in order to make sure that her career won't be in danger. But that's not her biggest problem, when her time comes to perform, she chokes!

As Edy Ganem explained to Zap2it of her character Valentina's evolvement in "Devious Maids" season 2, episode 3: "She is the romantic dreamer. She is very driven and determined," she said. "In the second season she becomes more independent. There is a little too much drama with her mother controlling her too much."
